Steve Yegge is a software development manager and staff software engineer at Google, working out of their Kirkland office on systems infrastructure. Prior to Google, he was a senior development manager at Amazon.com, where he was involved in both recruiting and in helping shape the recruiting process. Steve has been actively involved in technical recruiting for over twenty years, and has authored several globally circulated guides for helping great candidates connect and great companies connect. He has conducted well over a thousand technical interviews and phone screens and has a deep passion for improving the processes and experience for everyone involved.
